The Tinora Lady Rams honored their three member senior class on Thursday night. Trynity Koerber, Zoe Roesti, and Brook Squires all were honored prior to the game as friends and family joined them.

The Lady Rams welcomed in the Blancard Valley Conference Champions, the Elmwood Royals for a non-conference game. Elmwood entered at 15-7, 10-0 in the BVC

The Lady Rams got started right out of the gates with a 2-0 lead after on inning of play. Zoe Billings RBI single scored Madison Spangler who walked, then stole second for a 1-0 Rams lead. The lead went to 2-0 on a Savanah Scroeder RBI double, scoring Trynity Koerber who singled.

Tinora added a run in the bottom of the third for a 3-0 advantage as Paige Gamby would homer to Centerfield.

The Lady Rams lead grew to 6-0 as they scored two more runs in the bottom of the fitth. Brook Squires would score on Maddison Spoangler’s two-run homerun to centerfield.

Koerber would score agian on another RBI by Billings for a 7-0 lead, Gamby would close out the scoring in the fifth, coming home on a wild pitch for a 8-0 advantage.

Tinora would close out the scoring and the game in the bottom of the sixth as Christina Meyer and Madison Spangler would both score on a Elmwood wild poitch for a 10-0 Tinora win.

Zoe Billings picked up the win for the Lady Rams, as she worked 6 innings, allowing just three hits, no runs, striking out three Royals.

Tinora improves to 8-10. The Lady Rams will host Van Buren Friday.

Elmwood falls to 15-8, the Royals will take on Perrysburg nesxt Tuesday.

The Player of the game went to the three seniors, Trynity Koerber, Zoe Roesti, and Brook Squires. Congratulations, ladies!
