Archbold: The 0-2 Tinora Rams headed over to Archbold to take on the 2-0 Bluestreaks as the Rams were in reach of their first win of the season.
The previous two meetings came down to the final play of the game in 2024 & 2025, as Tinora has never beaten Archbold, as the ‘Streaks lead the All-Time series 14-0.
After a short opening kickoff by the Rams, Archbold’s Maddux Pinter hit Anderson Bently for a 14-yard TD reception. Quinn Sauder added the XP for a 7-0 Archbold lead with 10:09 in the initial quarter.
Ryder Ryam plowed through the Rams defense for the first of his three scores as he dashed in from 24 yards out; Sauder’s XP increased the Archbold lead to 14-0 with 5:21 remaining in the first stanza.
Quinn Sauder nailed a 35-yard field goal to start the second quarter, increasing the Archbold lead to 17-0 with 10:01 in the half.
Ryder Ryan struck for his second score, a nine-yard scamper; Sauder’s XP gave the Bluestreaks a 24-0 advantage with 6:55 in the second quarter.
Ryan’s third and final score came from six yards out with 4:31 on the second quarter clock; Sauder again added the XP, and Archbold led 31-0.
The highlight of the evening came right before the half as Archbold kick returner Ananjer Krieger returned a Tinora punt 40 yards for another ‘Streaks score. Sauder’s XP increased the Archbold lead to 38-0 with 1:27 in the initial half. Krieger was able to break multiple tackles on his thrilling punt return for a score, his third in less than two years.
The lone Rams score came with 11:30 remaining in the fourth quarter as Owen Ferrell hit Owen Reynolds for a 15-yard score; Jaxten DeWeese added the XP for Tinora.
The entire econd half was played under a running clock.
Tinora drops to 0-3. The Rams will play host to Edgerton next Friday night.
Archbold improves to 3-0. The Bluestreaks will host Delta next Friday.
The Patriot Outdoors Play of the Game went to Owen Reynolds for his 15-yard TD reception.
