Thursday night from Grube Field saw Senior Night as the nine Rams baseball seniors were honored in a pregame ceremony celebrating their accomplishments.

Honored prior to the first pitch were seniors Adam Spychala, Trentin Delarber, Dominic Graziani, Ayden Moser, Mason McQuillin, Hunter Bostelman, Cooper Ferrell, Alec Schaublin, and Dominick Mills.

Senior Dominic Mills stole senior night as the first baseman went 4-4 with three RBI, including the game winning single in the bottom of the sixth inning in the Rams 11-1 win over the Big Green of Ottoville.

Sophomore lefty Logan Stein got the start among the senior led Tiora defense, picking up his third win of the season. Stein dominated, pitching five strong innings, allowing one run on just two hits, waling one, while striking out four.

Ottoville struck first with their only run of the game on a RBI from Jayden Saxton, scoring Brandon Calvelage for an early 1-0 Big Green advantage.

The senior led Ram attack came back and knotted the game at 1-1 on a sac fly from DH Hunter Bostelman, scoring Ayden Moser.

Tinora exploded for four runs in the bottom of the third to grab a 5-1 lead. Eight Rams hitters came to bat, scoring were Schaublin, Bostelman, Spychala, and McQuillin on a RBI double by Spychala. Mills got his first RBI on a single to right, platting Spychala from second.

As Stein continued to dominate on the hill, the Tinora offense added a single tally in the bottom of the fourth to increase their lead to 6-1. Trenton Delarber doubled to start the inning, then scored on a RBI by Alec Schaublin.

The Ram attack scored four runs on just two hits in the bottom of the fifth as they sent 10 to the plate for a 10-1 advantage. McQuillin, Owen Ferrell, Mills, and Parker Hancock all scored in the inning. Mills added his second RBI of the game on a single, scoring Mason McQuillin. Hancock’s RBI single plated O. Ferrell in the inning.

Mason McQuillin led of the bottom of the sixth with a single, moved to second on a walk to Owen Ferrell, brining up Dominic Mills who lined his fourth hit of the game into right field, scoring McQuillin with the final Tinora run in the Rams 11-1 win.

Tinora improves to 13-4. Tinora will travel to Ottawa -Glandorf to take on the Titans.
