The Tinora Rams looked to avoid their first 0-4 start since the 2018 season as they started the Green Meadows Conference by hosting the Edgerton Bulldogs.

A packed Tinora crowd saw fans, parents, and grandparents fill Justin F.Coressel Field Friday night as the Rams hosted their annual Biddy Cheer and Flag Football night for the youngsters.

The Rams, who entered averaging just four points per game, wasted no time in getting on the scoreboard first as Owen Ferrell hit newcomer Braylon Blue on the first play of the game for a 50-yard gain. Cooper Ferrell would go nearly untouched for a 24-yard scamper and a 6-0 lead with 10:57 on the clock. The Jaxten DeWeese XP was not good.

The Rams would strike again in the initial quarter asOwen Ferrell would hit Blue again, this time for a 37-yard strike and a 13-0 lead with 1:29 remaining in the first stanza. The DeWeese XP increased the Tinora lead to 13-0.

Owen Reynolds would excite the Tinora Rams fans as he would haul in a 49-yard score from Ferrell on the final play of the first quarter; the XP was missed, and the Rams led 19-0 after one frame.

With 7:56 remaining in the first half, the Rams’ Cooper Replogle would carry Edgerton defenders into the end zone for a 25-0 lead; the XP was missed by DeWeese.

Owen Reylolds would again thrill the jammed-pack stands as we would haul in an Edgerton punt and take it in for a 31-0 lead with 6:36 on the halftime clock. The XP was missed by the Rams.

The Ferrell to Blue connection would again hit for a score, this time for a 24-yard score at the 3:41 mark. The XP was good by DeWeese, and Tinora took a 38-0 lead to the half.

The Tinora defense held the Bulldogs to 31 plays for 51 yards in the first 24 minutes of play, while the Rams’ attack exploded for 287 yards on 20 plays.

With the running clock in the second half, the only scoring in the third quarter was by freshman Davion Cooper, who scored his first varsity touchdown on a great 20-yard scamper around the left side. Tinora led 46-0 after a Ferrell to Landon Replogle 2-point conversion with 6:04 in the third.

The final score of the game came in the fourth quarter as Landon Replogle would take it in from 35 yards out and a 52-0 Rams lead. The XP was missed by Tinora.

The Tinora offense exploded for 435 yards on 30 plays, while the Rams defense clamped down on the Edgerton offense, allowing only 112 yards on 51 plays.
