A post-holiday packed house watched the Tinora Rams give the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots all they could handle, but the Patriots pulled away in the final five minutes to secure a 52-37 road win.

Patrick Henry outscored Tinora 21-8 in the final quarter, highlighted by a 15-2 run to start the fourth period. Meanwhile, Mack Hieber led all scorers with 27 points, and teammate Tristen Rosebrook added 16.

Entering the fourth with a 31-27 lead, Patrick Henry relied on Hieber, who scored 10 of his team’s 21 points in the final quarter to help secure the win.

Patrick Henry, meanwhile, limited Tinora’s leading scorer, Josh Lieb, to just 3 points on the night.

Earlier in the game, Rosebrook knocked down three 3-pointers in the opening quarter and helped Patrick Henry grab an early 9-6 lead after one.

Both teams traded baskets in the second period, each scoring 10 points as the Patriots carried a 19-16 halftime advantage.

Parker Hancock did his best to keep the Rams close, scoring a team-high 10 points. He scored six in the third, as the Rams battled the Patriots to a 31-27 third-quarter deficit.

In the fourth quarter, the Patriots relied on strong free-throw shooting, scoring 11 of their 21 points at the line. The key free throws down the stretch allowed them to pull away for a 52-37 win.
