The Tinora Lady Rams exploded for 11 runs in the fourth inning on their way to a 22-2 win over North Central.

In a game originally scheduled to be played at North Central, coach Fairchild worked some magic on the Lady Rams field despite the 2+ inches of rain yesterday, he had the field ready for play, so the game was moved from North Central to Tinora as the playing field at NC was unplayable.

Zoe Billings went five innings for the win for Tinora. Billings gave up two runs, one earned as she struck out nine Eagles hitters while walking four.

The host Lady Rams plated four runs in the first, four in the second, three in the third, and capped the scoring with the 11 run fourth.

Highlighted were Lady Rams Paige Gamby, Karly Carpenter, and Madison Spangler, all who collected three hits each. Spangler, coming back from injury, hit her first homerun of the day. Spangler also collected six runs batted in in the Tinora win.

Zoe Roesti, also back after missing last season also hit her first homerun of the season. Zoesti also knocked in three teammates. Roesti also doubled and tripled for the Lady Rams.

Christian Meyer also homered for Tinora.

Tinora improves to 2-2 and will travel to Continental Friday to take on the Pirates.

Hilltop falls to 0-3 and will host Liberty Center Friday.
