For the second straight game, the Tinora Lady Rams used a tight, tough defensive effort on their way to a solid 46-7 home win on parent’s night over the visiting Continental Pirates.

Tinora outscored Continental to start the opening quarter, 11-2.

Despite struggling from the field over the first 24 minutes, the Lady Rams outscored the Pirates in the second quarter 11-0 to take a 22-2 lead to the Locker room.

Tinora came out red-hot to start the third, knocking down three 3-point shots, two by Noa Okuley, and a single by Julia Durfey, to take a commanding 41-5 lead after three quarters.

With the Tinora starters mostly sitting in the final stanza, the Lady Rams JV got a chance to play the final eight minutes, capping a Tinora win over the Pirates of Continental, 46-7.

Continental falls to 0-4 and will travel to Fairview on Tuesday.

Tinora improves to 2-1 and will head to Defiance to take part in the four-team Defiance Physical Therapy Classic on Monday vs. Archbold, 6 pm start.
