The Tinora Lady Rams celebrated senior night on Thursday at Tinora High School as they welcomed the Paulding Panthers to the next-to-last GMC contest of the season.

Seniors Aleena Ankney, Sophia Stark, Avery Morris, Kenzi Nagel, Kalie Snyder, Paige Sebring, and Zoe Roesti played in their final regular-season home game. Teammates and the Tinora home crowd celebrated the senior class between the JV and varsity contests.

The Lady Rams, 20-0, 5-0 GMC, looked to keep their perfect season intact as the Panthers came for a late-season visit.

Tinora, rebounding from a cold start on Saturday vs Defiance, came out and dominated the opening set, taking a 1-0 lead with a 25-9 opening set win.

The second set was a bit closer, as Tinora escaped with a 25-20 win to grab a 2-0 advantage.

The Lady Rams took the third set, 25-18, winning the match 3-0.

With the win, Tinora ranked #6 in the final DIV VI coaches poll, clinched a tie for the GMC title.

The Lady Rams will look to close out their perfect season and GMC Championship with a trip to Edgerton on Thursday to take on the 17-3 Bulldogs. Edgerton, 5-1 in conference play, can clinch a tie for the GMC with a win over the Lady Rams.

Paulding’s record drops to 9-12, 2-4 in the GMC. The team will conclude its regular and GMC seasons on Thursday when it hosts Antwerp.

The Lady Rams improved to 21-0, 6-0 in the GMC. Tinora will travel to Edgerton on Thursday to take on the Bulldogs in their final regular-season game for both teams.
