COLDWATER – The Lady Rams of Tinora made a Saturday morning trip down south to take on the Coldwater Cavaliers on a chill and breezy Saturday for a doubleheader.

Game one saw the Lady Rams blank the host Cavaliers, 12-0 in fie innings. Tinora pounded out 14 hits in the Tinora win.

Paige Gamby had three hits for Tinora including two doubles and a homerun along with three RBI.

Tinora’s Scylea Zolman remained scorching hot as she would tally two hits, a double and a grand slam homerun and tallying five RBI in the initial game.

Also collecting two hits for the Lady Rams in game one were Christiana Meyer, Madison Spangler, and Trinity Koerber.

Coldwater collected four hits in the opener, two by Libby Grieshop.

Game two saw the Lady Rams come away with a 9-4 win. Zolman remained hot as she collected three more hits and another homerun, driving in three in the game two win.

Paige Gamby also remained hot, Gamby with two doubles, and a single, Tanae Smith collected three hits for Tinora as well.

Freshman Zoe Billings collected two hits, two RBI for the Lady Rams in the game two victory. Billings also picked up her second win of the season in the circle as she worked seven innings, striking out nine.

Coldwater collected 10 hits in game two. Madison Wendel, Claire Steinke, and Aery Knape each had two hits each, Knape had two RBI in the loss.

Dana Zahn, Wendel, and Knaple all doubled for the Cavaliers in game two.

Zolman also improved to 10-0 in the circle in 2024 with her game one win.

Tinora improves to 12-1 with the doubleheader weep.
The Lady Rams have a big week ahead as they will host North Central on Monday, travel to Ayersville on Tuesday, travel to Antwerp on Thursday, and host Liberty Center on Friday.
Friday, the Lady Rams will honor coach Denny Helberg who recently passed.

The Coldwater Cavaliers drop to 5-7. The Cavs will play at Celina on Monday before hosting Versailles on Thursday and hosting Marion Local on Thursday.
