On a perfect Monday evening, the Tinora Rams honored their six-man senior class, coach Rutter for his service, as well as the Grube family for their donation to the baseball program.
The Rams senior class of six, Luke Harris, Korbin Casteel, Ty Weimken, Eli Plassman, Dalton Wolfrum, and Teron Ward, were honored before the game s Delta.
The Rams scored in all but one inning on their way to an 11-1 win over Delta in a non-conference game.
Tinora’s Connor Wolfrum, who started for the first time at the varsity level this season, went four strong innings, allowing just one unearned run over four innings. Fellow junior classmate BJ Morlock followed Wolfrum with two strong innings of his own, striking out two, without allowing a run.
The Rams broke open a close game, 5-1 through five innings of play, with a six run bottom of the sixth, on their way to win number 19 with an 11-1 six innings win.
Senior Dalton Wolfrum had an RBI single in the first and third for the Rams as they held a 3-1 lead through three innings. Fellow senior, Eli Plassman added an RBI single in the second, scoring Korbin Casteel.
The Rams added two more runs in the fourth on another RBI single by Plassman and an RBI by Grady Gustwiller on a SAC fly.
TInora added six runs in the bottom of the sixth off three separate Panthers hurlers. Tinora sent 11 hitters to the plate, collecting just one hit. Rylee Peters started the one out rally. Gustwiller, Morlock, Radzik, D Wolfrum and Peters, would all collect RBI’s in the inning.






Tinora improves to 19-4. The Rams will host Archbold in a pre-tournament tuneup game Tuesday,
Delta falls to 4-19 and will play Ottawa Hills on Wed. The winner of that game will play at Tinora on Friday in the Sectional Finals, 5 pm.
The Higbea Embroidery Player of the Game went to Jr Connor Wolfrum. Connor picked up his first win in his first varsity start, Congratulations, Connor.
