Something told both these teams they would more than likely meet again down the road, tonight would be that night.
The Lady Rams came in winners of seven straight and winning 15 of 16, and a GMC championship Ironically, the last Tinora loss this season was that loss to Archbold.
The Lady ‘Streaks also came in streaking, winners of four straight, 10 of 11, and also a conference title, a 7-0 undefeated NWOAL championship. Their last loss was to Fairview three weeks ago.
A packed house at Defiance High School awaited as fans watched the Lake Flyers defeat the Fairview Apaches in the opener, 3-0, 25-21, 25-15, & 25-18. The Lady Flyers would await the winner of the Tinora vs Archbold match.
Intensity was high in the opening set as the Lady Rams led most of the way, winning the first set 25-23.
The second set was most of the same, intense, pressure packed. Tinora led most of the way, but the Lady Streaks still giving fits throughout tying it at 25, in the end Tinora prevailed to take the set, 27-25. The Lady Rams led 2-0.

The fourth set started with the Lady Rams quickly jumping out to an early lead, only to see the Lady ‘Streaks rally to close the gap to 12-8. After an Emma Chafins point on a tap over, a Makenna Reetz spike gave Tinora a 13-9 lead. Senior Emma Chafins was now serving, and serving she did.
Rewind the tape back to the Sectional opener vs Delta where Chafins served in the third set 17 straight times, giving the Rams 16 straight points.

Serving with a 13-9 lead, The Lady Rams were led by the right arm of Chafins and Makenna Reetz, who seemed to fly through the air at times like Michael Jordan.
