On Monday, Tinora High School and Athletic Director Jake Essig hosted an athletic signing day at Tinora High School in the gym lobby.

On hand were parents, siblings, teachers, coaches, and friends to honor the college commitments of the senior student athletes.

A crowd of nearly 100 was on hand to witness the signees at the annual event.

Congratulations to the six student-athletes below who have signed their National Letter of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.

*Deagon Begin – Defiance College – Bowling
*Adam Burchfield, Owens Community College – Baseball
*Tatum Creps, Wheeling College – Volleyball
*Paige Gamby, Malone University – Softball
*Bella Graziani, Tiffin University – Wrestling
*Ryan Steingass, Heidelberg – Track & Field


Deagon Begin: A three-time district qualifier, Deagon also carried a career average of 220. He set a Tinora bowling series record of 533.
Deagon is also the play-by-play announcer of Tinora softball.

Allan Burchfield: Tinora baseball and Cross Country. An Honors Graduate & a Four County Ambassador. Currently leading the 10-3 Rams in hitting, second in RBI, and second in pitching. All-GMC Scholar Athlete.

Tatum Creps: 3x GMC All-Conference, 2x All-District, Second Team All-Ohio, & Honorable Mention All-Ohio, State finalist, and the 2025 Crescent-News player of the year, all in Volleyball. Tatum was also a member of the Lady Rams varsity basketball team as a junior. All-GMC Scholar Athlete.

Paige Gamby: Three-sport athlete in volleyball, wrestling, and softball.
Two-time All-Ohio softball second team selection, two-time All-First Team All District, two-time GMC first team.
Unfortunately, Paige missed her senior softball season due to injury.
In volleyball, Paige was a two-time First Team All-State selection, District Player of the Year, and two-time GMC Player of the Year.
And, in wrestling, she was a two-time All-State qualifier and an 8th-place finisher.
All-GMC Scholar Athlete.
(and I assure you we can add lots more to the above accolades-LOL)
Paige will likely go down as one of the greatest athletes in Tinora athletics history. What a career, Paige!

Bella Graziani:
Football cheerleader, and a mile-long list of wrestling accolades.
A four-time team MVP, a two-time GMC Champion, and a four-time OHSAA girls wrestling participant. 2024, 6th place, in 2025, a second-place finish, and capping off her fantastic wrestling career with a State Championship.
Bella also holds records in Tinora girls wrestling for most career wins and pins, as well as most wins and pins in a season. Bella also holds records for most takedowns in both a season and a career. All-GMC Scholar Athlete.
Bella has brought the sport of girls’ wrestling to the forefront not only in Tinora but in all of Ohio. She has brought girls’ wrestling from a small startup sport to a sleeping giant. What a career, Bella!!

Ryan Steingass: A three-time All-State participant in the 4x200m and the 4x400m relay teams, also holding Tinora records in those two events. In 2024, two 6th-place finishes at State in the 4×200 & 4×400 relay teams, and a 5th-place finish at the State Indoor Track Championships.
All Ohio in 2024 & 2025 Track & Field. A member of the National Honor Society, Academic All-Ohio two years. All-GMC first team selection.

Each of you has made your mark at Tinora High School, and the memories will last forever.
