EDON – The Bombers rallied from 13 points down for a 43-39 win over the Tinora Rams Saturday night as the Bombers held a Salute to Service night for all military members.
Tinora’s Josh Lieb came out hot, nailing three 3-pointers for nine of his game-high 20 points as the visiting Rams jumped out to a 14-3 opening quarter lead.
In the second quarter, the Rams Grant Lymanstall picked up where Lieb left off as he would pour in eight of his 10 points in the quarter as Tinora led 24-17 at the half.
Edon’s Corbin Christman led the Bombers’ comeback in the third as he scored seven points, as Edon closed the deficit to 31-29 as the third quarter closed.
Briggs Gallehue’s two-point play with 2:27 remaining in the fourth quarter, gave the Bombers their first lead of the game, a 38-37 lead. Teammate Kendol Briggle added six of his nine points in the final stanza as the Bombers would hold on for a 43-39 win.

Tinora drops to 5-7. The Rams will travel to Fairview next Friday.
Edon improves to 8-4. The Bombers travel to Pettisville next Friday night.
