Tinora jumped out to a 3-1 lead after one, but would lose their third straight game, 9-6 to the visiting Edgerton Bulldogs.
Edgerton grabbed a 1-0 lead after one on a fielder’s choice off the bat of Ava Swank, scoring Alivia Farnham.
Tinora roared back to take a 3-1 lead after one inning. Madison Spangler hit her 15th home run to lead off the bottom of the first to tie the game at 1-1. Zoe Billings would follow with a double; she would move to third on a Savannah Schroeder single. Billings scored on a Taylor Spangler infield groundout for a 2-1 Rams lead. Schoeder came into score on a wild pitch by Edgerton’s starter Olivia Wallace, Tinora led 3-1 through one inning.
Edgerton bounced back with a single run in the top of the second. Cara Schroeder singled and came into score on a wild pitch to close the gap to 3-2 Tinora after two innings.
Edgerton would grab the lead for good with two runs in the top of the third. Farnam singled to start the third inning for Edgerton. Ava Swank would draw a walk. Both would come around to score on a Tinora infield error; the Bulldogs led 4-3. The ‘Dogs’ fifth run of the game came as Ava Gesige, who reached via error, came around to score on an infield groundout. Edgerton led 5-3.
Tinora added a single run in the bottom of the third as Madison Spangler, who reached via error, would score on an RBI from Zoe Billings. Tinora trailed 5-4 after three.
Edgerton added two runs in the top of the fourth. Morgan Cape would single and score on a double by Farnham, Edgerton led 6-4. Farnham came in to score on an RBI single by Olivia Wallace for a 7-4 advantage. The final run of the inning came as Ava Swank scored on a sac fly by Ava Gesige. The visiting Bulldogs led 8-4 after four.
Tnora added a single run in the bottom of the fifth on an RBI single by Lexi Rios, scoring Zoe Billings, who singled. Tinora trailed 8-5 after five innings.
The Lady Rams edged closer with another single run in the bottom of the sixth on a sac fly from Nahla Fanary, scoring Christina Meyer, Tinora trailed 8-6 through six innings.
Edgerton added an insurance run at the top of the seventh as Austynn Landis came around to score on a dropped third strike, passed ball, for a 9-6 lead into the seventh.
Tinora threatened in the bottom of the seventh, but could muster just a single run, as Zoe Billings would score the final run on a fielder’s choice.
Edherton picked up a big 0-7 win at Tinora.






Edgerton improves to 9-3, 4-1 in the GMC. The ‘Dogs will host Swanton on Saturday.
Tinora falls to 5-11, 0-4 in the GMC. Tinora travels to Lincolnview on Friday.
