FOSTORIA – On Friday, the Tinora boys track and Field teams competed in the Regional track meet at Fostoria’s Memorial Stadium on Friday and will be sending a slue of student-athletes to the OHSAA State meet this Thursday & Friday in Dayton.

The Rams boys team won the Regional Championship, what a great day for the team. The Rams finished first of the 38 teams that competed in the Regional meet and will be sending multiple athletes to Dayton next week.

The Lady Rams girls team finished ninth of 37 teams entered. Addison Lee and Lauren Satler will be represending the Lady Rams in Dayton.

Girls advancing to State:
*Addison Lee – Long Jump
*Lauren Sattler – 1600 & 3200m

Boys advancing to state:
*Owen Ackerman – Long Jump & High Jump
*Paul Westrick- 800m & 1600m
*Logan Coy – 1600m
*4x200m team of Joey Guisinger, Owen Ackerman, Graham Askins, Ryan Steingass.
–They broke the school record at 1:30:52, pevious record of 1:30:96 from 1997. The 3 seniors, Guisinger, Ackerman, and Askins were very proud of the new record!

*4x400m team of Brennan Gentit, Paul Westrick, Jabob Bishop, Ryan Steingass
–A new school record of 3:25:09.

*4x800m team of Brennan Gentit, Logan Coy, Aiden Rittenhouse, Pauld Westrick
**Alternates: Carter Guillium, Logan Baldridge, Noah Meyer
