DAYTON – The Tinora Rams sent multiple athletes to the OHSAA 2024 DIV III Track & Field State Championship held from May 30 – May 31 at Welcome Stadium, Dayton.
The Tinora boys’ team finished 10th overall, what a great accomplishment.
Individually, Owen Ackerman was the highest finisher for the Rams as he finished 2nd in the High Jump and 3rd in the long jump. What a great career for the Tinora Senior.

Logan Coy and Paul Westrick competed in the 1600 with Coy finishing 13th and Westrick 18th.
Westrick also raced in the 800m, finishing 11th.
Individually for the girls, Lauren Sattler finished her fantastic high school career finishing 6th in the 1600m race and 11th in the 3200m race. Lauren will go down as the greatest runner in the history of Tinora CC and Track, Congratulations on a fantastic career, Lauren.

Addison Lee finished her fantastic career as a Ram 14th in the Long Jump.
As a team, the highest finisher was the Tinora 4×200, relay team which finished 6th in the State.
A great job by the team of Joey Guisinger, Owen Ackerman, Graham Askins, and Ryan Steingass.
The 4x400m team of Brennan Gentit, Ryan Steingass, Jacob Bishop, and Paul Westrick came up short and didn’t advance to the finals, but a great season nonetheless.
Tinora’s relay team in the 4×800 finished 10th, a great run by the team of Brennan Gentit, Logan Coy, Aiden Rittenhouse, and Paul Westrick.
