LEIPSIC – The Tinora Rams baseball team hit the road to Leipsic Thursday afternoon and came away with an 8-3 win over the Vikings.
Alex Schaublin picked up the win, going 4 innings, striking out 3, walking 2, while giving up just one earned run. Korbin Casteel pitched 3 innings of solid relief, allowing just one unearned run.
At the plate, Schaublin helped himself, driving in two. Ayden Moser collected three hits for the Ram attack, while also scoring three runs. Moser was lightning on the base paths, stealing four bases for the Rams.
Zeisloft collected three hits for the Vikings in the loss.
Tinora improves to 2-0 and will travel to Hilltop Saturday for a 11 am start.
Leipsic falls to 1-1. The vikings are off until Tuesday, hosting Ft Jennings.
