BRYAN – The Tinora Rams used a five run top of the sixth inning as they brought back an 8-5 win over the Bryan Golden Bears.

The six inning rally was keyed by Tinora’s Trenton Delarber and his fleet of feet. Delarber had his hand in the uprising with a sacrifice bunt, and two stolen bases as Kadyn Radzik, also had an RBI single, scoring Ayden Moser as the Rams led 8-3 after six innings.

Tinora held on after Bryan scored two in the bottom of the seventh and were threatening to score more. With Tinora holding an 8-5 lead, Bryan had runners at second and third, as senior BJ Morlock turned a ground ball down the third baseline into a double play, ending the Golden Bears threat in their last at bat.

Kayden Radzik and Adam Spychala each picked up two hits for Tinora in the win, while Delarber drove in three.

Owen Ferrell came in and picked up the win, pitching the seventh inning for the Rams.

Mason McQuillin started for Tinora and pitched two innings allowing three runs on one hit.

Parker Hancock came on in relief of McQuillin and pitched an effective three innings, allowing just one hit.

Tinora improves to 15-6 with the win. Tinora will play at home Saturday against Edon at 11 am, and then travel to Ayersville to take on the Pilots at 2:30 pm. A unique home/road doubleheader Saturday for the Rams.

Bryan falls to 11-9 Bryan is playing Ayersville Friday night at Sumter Field, 30 mins after the Tinora game ended.
