On a chilly, damp, wet Tuesday at Justin F Coressel Stadium at Tinora High School, the Tinora Rams track team hosted a quad meet with fellow Green Meadows Conference members, Edgerton, Fairview & Hicksville.
The Rams girls track team edged out Edgerton by just 2 points for first place, 68 to 66. Hicksville clipped Fairview for third place, 44.332 to 42.66.
The Tinora boys finished out in from of Hicksville’s 59, Edgerton’s 44, and Fairview’s 41 total team points.
Jaxen Durfey again was in the spotlight for the Tinora track team. The senior Durfey, who’s heading to the U of Findlay in the fall, set a new Tinora boys track record in the 3200m with a time of 9:35.9. The old record was set in 2001 by Nick Smith at 9:42.03.

*Logan Coy took home the 1600m
*Cole Anders won the 800m
*Jaxen Durfey won the 3200m
