The Lady Rams and Lady Pilots entered the River Rivalry as two of the hottest teams in the area.
Ayersville entered at 10-4, winners of eight straight games, while the host Lady Rams entered at 11-4, winning fie straight.
Ayersville’s Kendra Waldron scored in the top of the first inning to give the Lady Pilots an early 1-0 lead.
Tinora tied the game at 1-1 in the bottom of the second inning, as Paige Gamby scored on a Paige Carpenter hit and a Pilot error. The Lady Rams grabbed a 2-1 lead as Paige Carpenter would score on a sacrifice fly by Scylea Zolman.
The game would remain 2-1 Tinora until the top of the sixth as Ayersville would tie the game 2-2 as Addison Zartman would score on an infield single.
Tinora would bust the game open in the bottom of the sixth inning. The Lady Rams would score six big runs to grab a 8-2 lead.
Maren Pittman, who has been one of the Rams hottest hitters since being moved to the #2 spot in the order, started the Lady Rams rally with a lead off single. Paige Gamby would knock in Pittman, breaking the 2-2 tie.
Zoe Roesti, who has been blazing at the plate as well, knocked her second homerun of the season, scoring Gamby and giving Tinora a 6-2 lead in the bottom of the sixth.
Gamby with two hits, as well as Anna Frazer. Roesti collected 2 RBI in the win.
Scylea Zolman picked up the win. Zolman moves to 11-2, lowering her ERA to .76. Zolman struck out 13 Pilots while allowing just one hit in the Tinora win.

The Lady Rams improve to 12-4, 5-1 in the GMC. Tinora will host Antwerp on Thursday.
Ayersville falls to 10-5, 3-3 in the conference.
