Eastwood 3 Tinora 1

ARCHBOLD – The Tinora Rams headed back to a familiar venue Wednesday evening as they looked to keep their season alive as they took on the Eastwood Eagles from the Thunderdome at Archbold High School.

The Thunderdome has been the Rams home away from home over the years, participating in the annual Spiketacular for years as well as capturing the Sectional Final last season by defeating Paulding.

Tinora and Eastwood met during the regular season on 9/19, with the Rams dropping a tough five set match, 3-2.

Heading into the rematch on Wednesday, the Rams would be shorthanded as they were missing outside hitter Avery Morris. Morris was injured during practice on Tuesday.

Eastwood took a very competitive first set, 25-20.
Set two saw the Rams rally, taking it 25-20.
Set three was another tough set as the Eagles took it 25-19.
In what would be the final set, set four saw the Eagles pull away from the Rams for a 25-17 win.

With the win, Eastwood improves to 18-5 and will play Archbold on 10/24 @ Otsego HS.
