A night full of festivities was on hand Tuesday night from Tinora High school as the Lady Rams welcomed in one of the better teams in the area, the 12-2 Allen East Mustangs.

Also on hand was the Tinora pep band as well as the twirling sisters, Mary and Margaret Wachtman, who performed at halftime of the junior varsity and varsity games.

But, first and foremost was honoring the two Lady Rams senior basketball players, Addison Lee, and Karli Okuley. Both ladies have spent countless hours trying to make their teammates and themselves better during their years in a Tinora basketball uniform. A great pair of senior leaders!

Tinora started out like the team coming off two big wins last week over Patrick Henry and Wayne Trace, grabbing an early 18-9 lead over the visiting Mustangs.

The Mustangs rallied to get within striking distance after one, Tinora still lead 18-15.

Allen East would grab the lead midway through the second quarter and never look back, taking a 26-24 lead to the half.
The Mustang defense would not allow a point to Tinora leading scorer, Nova Okuley in the first half.

The Mustangs would come out and grab control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Lady Rams 15-6, taking a commanding 41-31 lead after three.

Allen East again came out and put the pedal to the floor, outscoring Tinora 15-8 to take a 56-38 victory back home.
