WAUSEON – The Lady Rams struggled to score through the first four innings, leaving numerous runners stranded in scoring position.

Tinora finally broke through, scoring five runs over the final three innings.

Paige Carpenter drew a bases loaded walk in the top of the fifth for the Lady Rams first run, putting Tinora on top 1-0.

Tinora would add two more runs in the sixth on an Anna Frazier hit, scoring Zoe Roesti and Malorie Zachrich, giving Tinora a 3-0 lead.

The Lady Rams would put the game away with two more runs in the top of the seventh. Paige Gamby scored on a Scylea Zolman single, Tinora led 4-0. Zolman would score on a Zoe Roesti single to left field, Tinora led 5-0.

Lady Rams junior, Scylea Zolman would pick up her fourth win on the season, pitching seven shutout innings in defeating the Wauseon Lady Indians. Zolman would allow just one hit while walking four and striking out 4.

Tinora improves to 4-2 on the season. The Lady Rams have games Monday at Continental, Tuesday at Wayne Trace, Thursday at Fairview, Friday at Springfield, and Saturday hosting Allen East.

Wauseon falls to 2-5. The Lady Indians will play at Bryan on Monday and travel to Swanton Thursday. Saturday Wauseon will host Hilltop.
