The Tinora Lady Rams started their 2025 tournament trial as they hosted the visiting Montpelier Locos.
The Lady Rams came out swinging as they took the initial set, 25-9.
The second set saw the visiting Locos take an early 6-5 lead. After a serve run off the right hand of senior Christina Meyer as Meyer scored 10 straight as the Lady Rams surged ahead 15-6, and rallied for a 25-13 win, taking a 2-0 set advantage.
In set three, the Lady Rams started out hot and never looked back, taking a 24-7 lead, before a late Montpelier surge closed the gap to 24-11. The Lady Rams finally secured the set and the match, 25-11 for a 3-0 set win.
Montpelier sees their season end at 3-19.
Seniors Caroline Dick, Bria Friend, Zoe Uribes, Bella Ramos, and Madisyn Bolenbaugh suited up for the final time for the Locos, best of luck in your future.
Tinora improves to 21-2. The Lady Rams will make the short trip to Defiance High Scholl next Tuesday to take on the Liberty Center Tigers. Game time is set for 6:00 pm.
