The Tinora Lady Rams opened their 2024 season with a Saturday Night game vs a very talented Eastwood Eagles team on the first ever Meet the Teams Night.
A fantastic crowd was on had as fans were introduced the the 2024 fall sports teams. Fans and students were able to get photos with their favorite Rams player.
The Lady Rams started out taking the first set 25-19
A back and forth thrilling set two went to the Eagles, 28-26.
The key third set saw the Lady Rams come out strong and take the set 25-12.
After grabbing a 2-1 set advantage, the Lady Rams had the chance to send the home crowd home happy, and they did just that, grabbing set four, 25-11
A very solid opening win for Tinora.
A special thanks to Coach Hagerty and all the people who helped arrange the Meet the Teams Night, it went very smoothly and we hope we can make it an annual event for the kids.
Eastwood starts the young season at 0-1. The Eagles will travel to Liberty Benton next Thursday.
Tinora improves to 1-0, the Lady Rams will travel to Bryan on Tuesday to take on the Golden Bears.
The Higbea Player of the Game went to Paige Gamby.
