Tinora Lady Rams 2 Edgerton 0

In a game that took 58 minutes, the Tinora Lady Rams hosted the Edgerton Bulldogs as both teams got in a tuneup game prior to their Sweet 16 games on Wednesday,

Both starters, Tinora’s Scylea Zolman and Edgerton’s Corrine Cape pitched as if they both were late to family dinners.

Edgerton’s only scoring threat of Zolman came in the top fourth as they placed runners at second and third with no out.

The first run of the game came in the bottom of the fourth as Tinora’s Paige Gamby sent a Cape pitch over the left center wall, giving the Lady Rams a 1-0 lead after four.

Tinora added an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth. Paige Gamby came around to score on a Paige Carpenter RBI single, giving the Lady Rams a 2-0 lead.

Edgerton would bring the tying run to the plate in the top of the seventh with two out, Zolman would end the Bulldog threat with a strikeout.
