The Tinora Lady Rams busted out 13 runs on 13 hits as they started Green Meadows Conference play with a 13-1 win over Wayne Trace.
Also making their debut were the new Lady Rams jerseys in the initial GMC contest of 2024.
The Lady Rams come out swinging with a five run first inning, highlighted was a Paige Gamby two run double and a Scylea Zolman two run homerun. Tinora led 5-0 after one inning of play.
The Raiders pushed across a single run in the top of the third on a solo homerun by Kaitlin Slade.
The Lady Rams added six more runs in the bottom of the third to take a commanding 11-1 advantage. Scylea Zolman hit her second homerun of the day to put Tinora on top 6-1. Madison Spangler followed with a solo homerun to push the advantage to 7-1 Tinora.
Tanae Smith would single and score as well as Tegan Norden to put Tinora on top 11-1 after three innings of play.
Paige Gamby would add an RBI double in the inning as well.
Tinora would put the game out of reach with two runs in the bottom of the fourth. Madison Spangler would start the inning with a single and score on a Mickey Starkey double. Trinity Koerber would single as well as Christina Meyer, scoring Koerber with the Lady Rams 13th and final run.
Scylea Zolman would pick up her fourth win of the season with a 13-1 win over Wayne Trace. Zolman would allow just the one run while striking out eight Raiders in the Tinora win.
Tinora improves to 5-0 this season and will have another big game Thursday at home against Fairview.
Wayne Trace drops to 2-1 and will host Hicksille on Thursday.
