ANTWERP: The Tinora Rams looked to stay in the thick of the Green Meadows Conference race as they loaded up the buses and hit the road to take on the Antwerp Archers.
The Rams offense put together an incredible opening drive, capped by a Cooper Replogle 9-yard scamper for a score. Parker Hancock’s XP gave the Rams a 7-0 lead with 4:40 in the initial quarter.
The Archer offense wasted little time, as Hampton Rogge hit receiver Kane Hines across the middle. Hines took it in for a 70-yard score; the extra point was no good. Tinora led 7-6 at the 3:40 mark of the first quarter.
Owen Reynolds hauled in the first of two scoring plays. The initial score was a 28-yard score from Owen Ferrell at the 9:29 mark of the second quarter. Hancock’s XP put the Rams on top 14-6.
Antwerp drove downfield in the final seconds of the half, capped by a Dominic Laker TD catch from Hampton Rogee. The Archers attempted the two-point conversion but failed, and the Rams led 14-12 with 45 seconds remaining in the half.
Owen Reynolds snagged his second score of the game, this one a 19-yard strike from Ferrell and a 20-12 lead. Hancock missed his first XP of the season, and Tinora held a 20-12 lead with 2:45 remaining in the third quarter.
Tinora’s Josh Lieb took it in from a yard out to start the fourth quarter. The Rams went for the two-point conversion and were successful. Tinora led 26-12 with 9:48 left in the game.
Tinora senior Parker Hancock came up with his second interception of the game with 8:30 in the final quarter. Hancock remained on his feet and took it back for a 38-yard interception return and a 34-12 lead. He added the XP to give the team a 35-12 lead.
The final score of the contest came as Cooper Replogle darted 18 yards for his second score of the game and a 41-12 Rams lead. Hancock added the XP for a 42-12 Tinora advantage with 2:14 remaining.

Tinora improves to 2-4, 2-1 in the GMC. The Rams will play host to Wayne Trace next Friday night.
Antwerp drops to 2-4, 1-2 in conference play. Antwerp will travel to Fairview.

NOTES: Tinora quarterback Owen Ferrell broke two season passing records tonight. The first was most completions in a season, it was previously held by Brevin Renollet in 2014 with 98. Owen currently has 115 completions in 2025
The second passing record to fall was most attempts in a season, previously held by Landon Drewes in 2007 with 178. Ferrell currently has 190 attempts this season.
The next records are most passing yards in a season, 1594 by Renollet in 2014, and most TD’s passing in a season, Renollet holds that record with 14 in 2015, congratulations Owen!
