Tinora 3 Maumee 1

Maumee:

On a hot a steamy Thursday, the Tinora Rams volleyball team made the long trip north to take on the Maumee Panthers. Not only was the air steamy outside, but inside as well in the Panther gymnasium at Maumee High School.

The Lady Rams won the first set to grab a 1-0 lead. Maumee rallied to grab set two, 25-16 to even the match at 1-1.

Coach Hagerty rallied the young Lady Rams as they rebounded and took a tough third set, 25-21.

As the night was getting long, both teams were staggering due to the high temps and humidity inside the non-air conditioned gym, Tinora reached back for a little extra, holding off a Panthers rally to take the fourth and final set, 25-21.
