EDGERTON – The Tinora Rams traveled to Edgerton to take on the Bulldogs Tuesday evening as the regular season is in it’s final week of play.
Tinora looked to stay hot as the Rams came in winning three straight, and seven of their last nine matches.
Edgerton came into the match with 15 wins themselves, but just one conference win.
These teams met previously in the Archbold Spiketacular back on October 1, with the Bulldogs coming away with a 2-0 win.
In the rematch at Edgerton, the Rams would come away with a hard fought 3-0 win.
The Rams would take a tough first set 25-22.
Set two would see Tinora with a 25-21 victory.
In set three, the Rams would come out with another hard fought win, this set 25-18.
Maggi Nagel would walk away with the Higbea Embroidery Player of the Game, Nagel would wind up with 16 kills, 5 digs and. 2 blocks. Congratulations, Maggi.
With the win, the Rams move to 13-8, and 4-2 in the GMC. Tinora closes out the regular season Thursday at home vs Hicksville. The Rams tournament trail starts Monday at home vs Ottawa Hills, 6pm start.
Edgerton falls to 15-6, 1-5 in conference play. The Bulldogs close the season with a Thursday match at Antwerp.
