The Rams wrestling family celebrated its Senior Night as they hosted county rivals Defiance and Ayersville on Thursday night.

Tinora was looking to end the regular season on a high note as they tuned up for the Sections which start in the upcoming week.

Tinora celebrated its senior wrestling class of Dalton Wolfrum and Javen Gaines for the boys. On the girls side, MaKenna Helmke, and Carmella Castaneda were celebrated for their senior career.

Wrestlerettes Suzi Justinger, and Paige Tong were honored for all they do to keep the wrestling program running strong on meet day.

The most anticipated event of the evening was Javen Gaines and his chase of career win 100. Gaines was able to pick up the ever coveted victory with a pin of Ayersville’s Ethan Courtaway, marking in the record books the senior’s 100th career victory.

The Rams would weep the meet, defeating Defiance 45-18 and then finishing off Ayersville 54-18.
