The Tinora Lady Rams welcomed in the Parkway Panthers in their home opener Tuesday night. Coming in as a 2024 OHSAA State Semi-Finalist and a 27-1 season, the Lady Rams looked to maintain their winning ways.

Tinora jumped out to a first set 25-18 win over the visiting Panthers to take a 1-0 set advantage.

Tinora seemed to be in control of the second set midway through. After a Parkway timeout, the Panthers dominated the remaining set, taking it 25-21 to even the match 1-1.

The visiting Panthers kept the foot on the pedal, leading the entire third set before knocking off the Lady Rams 25-13 to take a 2-1 lead through three sets.

Tinora took a early 2-0 advantage to start the fourth set. However, Parkway again righted the ship and dominated the rest of the set to take the set and the match, 25-17.

Parkway starts their season at 1-0 with the win at Tinora. The Panthers will host Elida Saturday.

The Lady Rams fall to 1-1. Tinora will head to Otsego on Thursday before returning home vs Elmwood on Saturday mourning.
