Tinora Head Coach Denny Helberg and his Lady Rams hosted and defeated the Lady Pilots of Ayersville tonight by a score of 12-5.

With the win, the Rams keep a slim hope alive at a chance of GMC title. Fairview currently leads the Green Meadows Conference with a 5-0 record, With the win, Tinora moves to 5-1 in conference play, the only loss being a loss to Fairview back on April 13. Tinora hosts Holgate on Monday in the 2021 GMC finale for both teams.

This will be Holgate’s final GMC softball game as they will be leaving the GMC and joining the BBC, the Buckeye Border Conference, in the fall of 2021.

With the loss, Ayersville falls to 11-8 overall and 2-3 in conference play.

The winning pitcher for the Lady Rams was Scylea Zolman.
Zolman went 7 innings, allowed 5 runs, striking out 16 batters, and walking 10.
