A action packed first set saw the Rams jump out to a 20-16 advantage. Fairview responded with a run of 4-1 to cut the Tinora deficit to just one, 21-20. The Apache would continue the attack on the Rams, taking the first set, 25-23 to grab a 1-0 lead.
Set two again would see the Rams jump out to an early 4-1 lead. The next 15 minutes of set two was all Fairview. The Apaches grabbed an 11-4 lead on their way to a 25-15 set two win to take a commanding 2-0 lead over Tinora.
