Tinora Lady Rams Senior Christina Meyer’s two free throws cut the once big Bryan Golden Bears lead down to just three at 26-23 with 6:20 remaining in the contest.
Unfortunately for this very young and inexperienced Tinora team, that was as close as they would get, as Bryan would outscore the Lady Rams 23-5 the remainder of the fourth quarter.
Bryan would get off to a good start in the initial quarter, leading the Lady Rams 11-4. Multiple turnovers by both teams at the start limited each teams output.
Bryan netted 10 points in the second stanza, while Tinora bucketed six points as the visiting Golden Bears took a 21-10 to the half.
Tinora cut into Bryan lead in the third quarter, trimming it down to 26-21 through 24 minutes of play.
After Tinora cut the Bryan lead to three, Amiyah Langham knotted six straight points, while teammates Averyann Fisher and Josey Arnold both had huge second halves as the Golden Bears pulled away for a 49-28 road win over Tinora.
Fisher sank 9 second half points, collecting a team high 17 marks, while Arnold poured in nine second half points for 15 points.
Tinora was led by Ella Homier and Hadley Spieth with eight points each.
