The Defiance Physical Therapy Classic two day Holiday tournament featuring Tinora, Archbold, Ayersville, and host school Defiance, started with a game one matchup between rivals Tinora and Ayersville and the Lady Rams battled the Lady Pilots in game 1 Monday night.

Kendra Walden poured in a game high 21 points for the Pilots as Ayersville defeated the Tinora Lady Rams 50-20 Monday evening. Avery Knueven scored 13 for Ayersville.

The Lady Rams were led in scoring by Ella Homier’s 10 points

Ayersville 9-8-22-11 = 50
Tinora 2-4-8-6 = 20

Ayersville scoring: Alstaetter 7, Waldron 21, Brown 3, Knueven 13, Booher 4, Ensign 2

Tinora scoring: Meyer 1, Homier 10, Spangler 5, Billings 2, Dominique 2

Ayersville improves to 3-3. The Pilots will play Archbold in the DPT Championship game tomorrow at DHS, 7:30 pm tip.

The Lady Rams drop to 1-4. Tinora will play Defiance Tuesday in the consolation game of the Classic. 6 pm tip.
