After spending the entire 2020 volleyball season playing on the road, the 2021 version of the Tinora Lady Rams volleyball team was ready for some much-needed home cooking Tuesday night.
Less than a year after graduation took away GMC Specialist of the year Lexi Wachtman, All GMC 1st team members Tristan Norden, & Tori Morlock, as well as fellow senors graduates Sara Stark, & Audrey Rittenhouse, a new set of senior leaders were ready to follow in their footsteps.
Led by seniors Emma Chaffins, Macey Schlosser, Brooklyn Reineke, Makenna Reetz, Kjerstin Scott, & Quinn Horn, this 2021 edition of the Lady Rams were ready to make their own steps in the sand.
The Lady Rams JV team set the tone with a two set victory over Bryan, 25-14 & 25-11.
With the temperature rising outside, the Lady Rams varsity team had their sites set on cooling the Bryan Golden Bears. A fantastic opening night crowd was on hand to cheer on the Lady Rams, as well as getting a first look at the new gym at Tinora High School.
The Lady Rams came through with a 3 set win over Bryan, 27-17, 25-17, & 25-16 to open up the 2021 season with a win.
The Higbea Embroidery Player of the Game awards goes to Senior Quinn Horn.
The Lady Rams are back in action Thursday vs Elmwood. The JV starts at 4:30 pm, stop out and see the ladies and check out the new gym!
