The Eastwood Eagles traveled down to Tinora to take on the Lady Rams in a Monday Night non league contest. The Eagles came in from the Northern Buckeye Conference with an 8-2 mark, while the Lady Rams of Tinora came in with a 5-4 overall record.
The Eagles entered winning their last 7-8 contests.
The Rams took the first set 25-12 to grab a 1-0 set advantage.
Eastwood rebounded nicely to take the second set 25-21, the set was tied 1-1.
Set three saw the Lady Rams jump back on top with a 25-21 win, grabbing a 2-1 set advantage.
Set four saw the Eagles get even at 2-2 with a 28-18 exciting fourth set win.
The decisive fifth and final set saw the Eagles jump out to an early lead and never look back, taking the set 15-11.
With the loss, the Lady Rams fall to 5-5 and will host GMC foe Wayne Trace on Tuesday.
Eastwood improves to 8-2 and will host Otsego Tuesday.
