Lady Rams 59 Hicksville 27

JEWELL – The Lady Rams of Tinora entered Tinora High School on a cold, snowy Thursday evening in a GMC contest vs the Hicksville Lady Aces.

Tinora was coming in off an impressive comeback win on Tuesday vs Montpelier, while the Lady Aces of Hicksville entered without the reigning GMC Player of the year, and possible player of the year in the area this season, Kenzie Schroeder.

Schroeder, a three time first team GMC player, was lost for the season in game four of the Lady Aces season.

The Lady Rams wasted little time in the initial quarter, led by junior point guard Karli Okuley, the Lady Rams defense was again in lockdown mode in a carry over from Tuesday’s win.

Not only was Okuley a threat on defense, she lit up the scoreboard with eight first quarter points, setting the tone for the rest of the game for Tinora as the Lady Rams grabbed a 16-3 lead after one quarter.

Tinora continued to score at will in the second quarter, Nova Okuley led the Rams in the initial half with 10 points as the Lady Rams entered the half with a 33-10 lead over the Lady Aces of Hicksville.

Tinora bucketed 10 points in the third quarter, Hicksville 9, Tinora led after three quarters, 43-19.

The fourth quarter was all Lady Rams as Dakota Sines had a great quarter, ending with nine points.
Tinoira exited with a59-27 win over the Lady Aces.

Liv Mueller led the Rams in scoring with 15.

Leah Seitz led the Lady Aces with six.

The Lady Rams improve to 9-8, 2-23 in the GMC. The Lady Rams will face a tough Kalida team (10-5) on Tuesday, 1/31. Get out and support the Lady Rams hoopsters,

The tough season for Hicksville continues as they drop to 2-16, 0-5 in conference play.
