HOLGATE: The Lady Rams headed over to take on the Holgate Lady Tigers in a good old fashion matinée basketball game.
As bizarre as it still sounds, this is now a non-conference game, as Holgate exited the GMC at the end of the 2020 sports season and joined the BBC conference.
The Lady Rams busted out with a 14 point first quarter and never looked back, grabbing a 14-2 lead after the initial quarter. Senior Liv Mueller led the way with nine first quarter points, draining three 3 pointers.
Tinora maintained their lead in the low scoring second quarter, taking a 19-8 lead into the half.
Quarter three saw Tinora score 16 points, grabbing a 35-14 lead after three. Karli Okuley with six for the Lady Rams in the quarter on two 3’s.
Tinora closed out with a strong fourth quarter with 13 points, going home with a 50-27 road win.
With the win, the Lady Rams improve to 7-8.
Tinora will have two home games next week, get out and support the Lady Rams on Tuesday vs Montpelier, and Thursday vs Hicksville.
Holgate drops to 9-9. The Lady Tigers will host Stryker on 1/26.
