AYERSVILLE – Tinora made the short trip across the Maumee River to take part in the 2022 version of the River Rivalry, volleyball edition.
Coming into the match, the Rams were riding a six game winning streak vs the Pilots.
Tinora took a tough first set, 25-22, rallying for the win, and propelled that into a 3-0 victory over the Pilots.
The Rams controlled set two, winning 25-14.
In set three, Tinora and Ayersville again battled throughout, with the Rams coming away with a 25-21 win.

With the win, the Rams move to 7-6, 2-2 in the GMC. The Rams will host Patrick Henry on Thursday in a non conference contest.
Ayersville falls to 8-9 overall, 2-2 in conference play. The Pilots will host Stryker on Oct 3.
The Higbea Embroidery Player of the Game went to Rams freshman Paige Gamby, congratulations Paige.
