Jaxen Durfey breaks Rams cross country record @ Grove Invite

Columbus Grove – The Tinora Rams cross-country teams made the trip on Saturday morning to take part in the Columbus Grove Invitational at Clymer Stadium. 19 men’s teams and 16 girls teams traveled to take part in the annual event dating back to 2005.

The Rams Jaxen Durfey finished third overall, in doing so he broke the Tinora cross county record. Durfey ran a 15:43 which broke the previous record set by Nick Smith, set in 2000, Smith’s time was 15:45. Congratulations, Jaxen.

Paul Westrick finished in eighth, but Westrick also set a record, Paul moved into the sixth all-time in Tinora cross-country history with a time of16:16.
