A young and rather inexperienced Tinora Lady Rams volleyball team opened their home season with a three set sweep of the visiting Maumee Lady Panthers.
Hit hard with the graduation of a huge senior class of Emma Chaffins, Quinn Horn, Brooklyn Reinke, Makenna Reitz, Macey Schlosser, & Kjerstin Scott, these young Lady Rams were looking to make their mark with a great start to the 2022 season.
Tinora took the opening set 25-13, followed up with a 25-15 second set win.
The Lady Rams were looking to close out Maumee in the third set and did just that with a commanding 25-10 advantage.
With the win, the Lady Rams improve to 2-0 and will travel to Elmwood for a early 10 am start.
Maumee falls to 1-1 and will travel to Perrysburg on Tuesday.
The Higbea Embroidery Player of the game was split between Maggie and Kenzie Nagel. Congratulations ladies.
It was also go great to see some of the Lady Rams Alumni to come out to support the 2022 Lady Rams.
Thanks to Michael Sebring for joining for fantastic color and stat information.
Our next live volleyball broadcast will be Monday vs Leipsic.
