After unplayable field conditions at Antwerp moved the Lady Rams softball game to Tinora, the Lady Rams had a scare against the Lady Archers.
Antwerp acting as the home team at Tinora put a run across the board in the first off Tinora starter Scylea Zolman to put the Archers on top 1-0.
The Antwerp lead would increase to 2-0 after the Archers pushed another single run across in the bottom of the fifth.
The silent Tinora bats finally came alive with a two run top of the sixth to tie the game at 2-2. A two out rally for Tinora as Devona Holmes singled in Anna Frazier for the Lady Rams first run, while the lone Tinora senior Quinn Horn doubled in Holmes to tie the game at 2-2.
Tinora would take the lead in the top of the seventh. Tinora Second baseball Logan McQuillin would double off Archer starter Litzenberg, McQuillin would move to third on a passed ball, and score on a Paige Carpenter ground out, giving the Lady Rams a 3-2 lead as the teams headed to the bottom of the seventh.
Zoleman, looking for win 10 on the season, would send the Lady Archers down in order to seal the Tinora come from behind win, 3-2.
Zolman would end with the complete game win, striking out 14 Archers in the win.
With the Win, the Lady Rams move to 11-3, 5-0 in the GMC. Tinora travels to Paulding Thursday to take on the Lady Panthers.
Antwerp falls to 6-3, 3-2 in the GMC.
