Lady Rams grab win #7, defeat Patrick Henry, 46-14

TINORA – After tasting defeat for the first time in three weeks Saturday at the hands of the Liberty Center Tigers, the Lady Rams of Tinora looked to rebound, and get back in the win column against the Patriots of Patrick Henry.

After getting out muscled in Saturday night’s loss, The Lady Rams seemed to add a little muscle of their own tonight as they defeated the Patrick Henry Patriots, 46-14.

Tinora jumped out quickly to a 12-0 lead midway through the first quarter, not looking back, cruising to win number seven. The Lady Rams ended the quarter leading 19-8.

The second quarter saw the Tinora defense tighten the screws, allowing just one point. The Lady Rams took a 31-9 lead to the half. Tinora was led in the half by junior, Liv Mueller who bucketed 13 points on three 3 point shots.

The second half continued as the first ended, a very physical game for both squads. The third quarter saw the Lady Rams defense again paving the way to the win, allowing just a single bucket, ending the third quarter with a 37-11 lead.

Quarter four saw the physical play continue, Tinora outscored the Patriots, 9-3, bringing home a 46-14 win over Patrick Henry.

The ice bags were definitely ready for the Tinora as they headed to the locker room, each Lady Ram seemed to have half a dozen bumps and bruises as the contest ended.

The Higbea Embroidery Player of the Game went to Liv Mueller. Despite getting kneed, elbowed and hitting the deck numerous times, Liv ended with 13 points (3 3 pointers) and 4 rebounds. Congratulations again, Liv.

With the win, Tinora improves to 7-2 and will start GMC play Thursday at home vs Fairview.
Get out Thursday and pack the house and watch this great, fun, high energy Lady Rams team!

Patrick Henry leaves Tinora looking for their first win, falling to 0-5. Many brighter days are ahead for the Patriots, showing much promise in the underclassman.
