As a chill was in the air on a Thursday evening at Tinora High School, the red-hot Lady Rams were looking to keep their current winning streak alive.
If your lucky numbers were 25 & 11, tonight was also your lucky night.
In the first event of the evening, the Tinora freshman team started out with a bang, a two set win over the Lady Tigers, 25-11 & 25-11.
Next up was the Lady Rams JV team. Looking to stay hot as well, Tinora defeated Liberty Center in two sets, 25-17 & 25-11.
In the nightcap, the third match of the night sent the red-hot Tinora Lady Rams varsity squad to the floor. The Lady Rams picked up where they left off during their current winning streak, taking the first set from Liberty Center, 25-13. In fact, the Lady Rams have yet to lose a first set, going 11-0 this season
In the second set, Tinora raced out to an early lead, not looking back, taking the set 25-11.
The third set also went to the Lady Rams, Tinora taking the set and the match with a 25-11 win.
With the win, the Lady Rams increase their winning steak to four games, and winning five of six, improving to 8-3 overall in 2021.
Next week, the Lady Rams finally hit the road with a Tuesday GMC game at Paulding, then traveling to Patrick Henry on Thursday.
The Higbea Embroidery Player of the Game went to Rams senior Macey Schlosser. Macey had a great game and is an unsung hero on the Lady Rams, quietly showing up at the office from game to game.
