As the regular season winds down, the Rams hosted the Bryan Golden Bears in a Friday night matchup. Tinora brought in its 21-4 record, Bryan came in at 10-12 but were winners of their last 5 of 7 games.

Senior right-hander Andre Imthurn took his 7-0 record to the mound against the Golden Bears of Bryan.

The Rams scored 4 unearned runs off starter Titus Rohrer in the bottom of the first inning. Rohrer lasted just 5 batters before being replaced by
sophomore Taysen Deckrosh. After two were out, the Rams next seven batters reached safely, sandwiched in was a huge error by the Golden Bears, allowing Imthurn, Wolfrum, and the Commisso brothers Cole & Christian to score.

The Rams added three more runs in the second off Taysen Deckrosh. Deckrosh had just 6 2/3 innings under his belt before being summoned in relief of Rohrer. Imthurn, Cole Commisso, and Wolfrum again scoring for the Rams, giving Tinora a 7-0 lead after two innings.

Tinora’s Andrew Imthurn was in control, almost the entire game, striking out the last six hitters, en route to winning game number eight on the season.

Tinora added one run in the third inning and two more in the fourth to close out the five-inning shutout.

Tinora improves to 22-4 on the season.
Bryan falls to 11-13.

The Rams are back in action on Monday vs Delta in the regular-season finale.

The Higbea Embroidery player of the game went to Andrew Imthurn as he improves to 8-0 on the season.
